PechaKucha Night conceived by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham in Tokyo, is now an international phenomenon taking place regularly in over 700 cities around the world, and attended by more than 250,000 people annually. It is an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. PechaKucha Night has been described as the world’s biggest physical social network. The key to the success is the simple format where presenters only get 20 images shown for 20 seconds each — this gives anyone a chance to present their recent project or passion.

PechaKucha Night Colombo first took place in July and then again in October 2011.
Three years later, it’s back again for Volume 3 in August 2014!
